Although you will mostly find me photographing weddings around Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds I also love to travel so will be seen snapping weddings across the UK and destination weddings abroad! I also love to capture families when I’m not busy photographing weddings.
I’m the kind of photographer who just loves to have fun! I want to make images that reflect the pure joy, happiness and laughter that your wedding day or family shoot will bring. I will make friends with your guests and family and be as much of your day as you want me to be, always there to lend a helping hand where needed! I really do believe that the natural smiles come from people being totally comfortable with me so make it my priority to slot right into your day, as if you had known me for years. I want to capture your true personalities so you won’t find too much in the way of formal posing, just a little guidance when needed. This is your day so I want the portraits to be as fun and relaxed as I can make them, it is your story I am telling after all!

Hi! I’m Katie! Katie Jackson to confuse things although my Maiden name is Hamilton. (sorry about that!)
When I’m not photographing weddings you will mostly find me at home spending time with my Hubby and kids! I have a daughter called Evie and a son called Finley! They are my world and as different as they come! Evie is very calm (mostly), She loves a good movie and will be found singing and dancing all day long. Finley on the other hand is the total opposite!! He is into everything, loves all things hot Wheels, Super Heroes or Dinosaurs. Neil is my husband! How he puts up with me I have no idea but he does and I love him for that! We’ve been together almost 20 years now! Married 10 of them! Wow, that’s a long time!
We have two dogs called Mo and Maggie who the kids adore.
Mostly you will find me curled up in front of a good series when I’m not in front of my computer.
I studied photography at university for 3 years and even managed to come away with a 1st. Something I am super proud of.
I love to travel. I spent 2 years traveling the world with Neil and met a huge amount of people who totally changed the way I looked at the world!
Photography is everything to me! I love to tell a story through photography and I love photographing laughter. I love weddings and families so of course I combined the two!
And lastly Tea is the answer to everything! Unless you offer me a glass of wine or Prosecco!! Then that’s a tough call!
